Description
85-year old vines from two plots in Gevrey Chambertin, Les Marchais and En Vosne. Les Marchais in an east facing vineyard across from Clos Saint Jacques and En Vosne is right of the route de Grand Crus, east of En Champs.
Tasting notes
Lovely concentration, tightly-wound dark, more black cherry fruit. Rich yet focused, tightly buttressed by fine tannins and juicy acids. Pairs well with meat.

Destemmed fruit with cold maceration fermentation without intervention. 50% new oak and 13 months elevage.
