Winemaker notes on 2016 Rosé Du Grappin
From the vineyard of “Le Bourg” in Lantignié, one of the more renowned communes in the Beaujolais-Villages appellation. Facing westerly, the grapes have great freshness, perfect for a juicy Rosé! Made in the old Beaujolais fashion; foot-crushed, a short maceration on skins, and pressed to old, large Burgundy barrels. Fermentation by natural yeasts and left on full lees for four months for texture and body.
Alcohol %: 13
