Description
The Les Gouttes d’Or lieu-dit has vines ranging from 14 to 65 years. The wine is aged one year in a barrel, 20% of which is new oak, and then six months in a tank prior to bottling. I find the Gouttes d’Or to have a traditional Meursault richness on the front of the palate and maintains as it opens up with time and air.
