We love the warm welcome we’ve always received at L’Avant Comptoir, the communal atmosphere and helpful and friendly staff. We always enjoy the experience of trying new and old items on their menu. Highlights this trip were the perfectly roasted coquilles Saint-Jacques pictured above and the jambon croquettes.

The wines selected by the staff are usually from producers & places we aren’t accustomed to seeing in stores in the states and it’s always fun to try a few of their easy drinking by the glass selections.
