Jason and Cary started Amitié from a shared love of Burgundy — one that’s taken them back to the same domaines year after year. Every producer on the list is someone they’ve sat with, eaten with, and whose wines they open at their own table.
Jason is the buyer, the importer, and the person you’ll talk to when you order. He travels to these cellars, tastes everything, and comes back with the wines he can’t leave behind.
The wines on our list appear on the lists of Michelin-starred restaurants and destination wine bars throughout California — from The French Laundry, Verjus, and Quince in Northern California to Somni, Kato, Bell’s, Lilo, and Jeune & Jolie in Southern California.

What we look for
Organically farmed vineyards. Single named parcels. Small family domaines who handle each wine with exceptional care from vine to bottle. Producers we return to every year because the wines keep getting better and the relationships keep deepening.
We carry Champagne, white Burgundy, and red Burgundy — from village appellations through Premier Cru and Grand Cru. The list is deliberately small — and every producer on it is there because the wine is genuinely extraordinary.
