Chambolle-Musigny is one of the most celebrated villages on the Côte de Nuits — known for producing some of the most elegant, perfumed, and fine-grained Pinot Noir in Burgundy. The limestone soils here are particularly rich in active chalk, which gives the wines their characteristic delicacy and aromatic lift. The village is home to two Grand Crus — Musigny and Bonnes-Mares — and some of the most sought-after Premier Crus in Burgundy including Les Amoureuses.
Mark Haisma makes a village Chambolle-Musigny from parcels in the village — the same precision and restraint that defines everything he makes from his Le Shed cellar in Gevrey-Chambertin. Named one of Tim Atkin’s Top 25 Producers to Watch. Jancis Robinson has said he has struck gold.
