About Antoine Bouvet
Antoine Bouvet grew up at his grandfather’s domaine in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. The insignia on every bottle shows the two of them together — Antoine as a boy, hand in hand with his grandfather, who is showing him the way. He took over the estate in 2013, converted entirely to organic and biodynamic farming, and works exclusively with oak. Five and a half hectares across three villages: Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Bisseuil, and Avenay-Val-d’Or.
His approach in the cellar mirrors his approach in the vineyard — precision, patience, minimal intervention. Some wines rest in oak for four years or more before release. Every bottle is hand-labelled. Every release sells out before it arrives.

Antoine makes seven wines across the three villages he farms. Each release typically includes a selection from the range below — specific cuvées and quantities vary by release.
Les Monts de la Vallée Blanc de Noirs
Antoine’s flagship. Pinot Noir from across all three villages — Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Bisseuil, and Avenay Val d’Or. The wine that most clearly expresses the three-village terroir. Available in both 750ml and magnum.
Les Monts de la Vallée Rosé
Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay from the same three terroirs. Zero dosage, extra brut. Available in both 750ml and magnum.
Avenay Val d’Or
100% Chardonnay from Les Plantels — a plot farmed since 1964. Zero dosage, extra brut.
Saignée de Bisseuil
100% Pinot Noir from Les Pautes (1964), Bisseuil. A single-plot saignée method rosé — one of the most distinctive wines in the range.
Les Coutures Magnum
60% Chardonnay, 40% Meunier from a single plot in Avenay Val d’Or planted in 1957. Extended lees ageing. The rarest wine in every release.

Antoine Bouvet Champagnes appear on the lists of some of California’s most celebrated restaurants — including The French Laundry, Quince, Verjus and Bell’s. At the retail level, allocation is managed through Amitié Wines and Revel Wine.

The next Antoine Bouvet allocation is expected to arrive in late November 2026. Pre-arrival customers on our dedicated list will receive first access — typically four to six weeks before arrival — before we open to our restaurant and retail accounts.
