Several of the producers on the Amitié list represent five or more generations of the same family farming the same land — a continuity of knowledge about specific parcels, soils, and microclimates that accumulates across lifetimes rather than careers.

Domaine Buisson-Battault is the fifth generation of a family farming in Meursault since at least the early 20th century — some vines planted as early as 1927 still producing fruit today. Antoine Bouvet is the fifth generation of a family rooted in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ since his grandfather Guy launched the domaine in 1970. Champagne Pierre Deville is the fourth generation in Grand Cru Verzy since 1963. The Amiot family has been farming vines in Morey-Saint-Denis for ten generations. The depth of generational knowledge on this list is not coincidental — it is part of the reason the wines taste the way they do.

Amitié Wines imports small-production Burgundy and Champagne directly from the family domaines that make them. Every wine is personally selected.
