Jean-Louis Amiot is the tenth generation of the Amiot family in Morey-Saint-Denis — farming the same vineyards his ancestors have worked since 1702. In 2020 Jean-Louis established Domaine Amiot et Fils alongside his son Léon, separating their holdings to create their own label. The result is a domaine that combines three centuries of accumulated knowledge about these specific parcels with a younger generation’s energy and ambition.
The Guide Hachette des Vins named Domaine Amiot et Fils Vigneron de l’Année 2026 in Burgundy — winemaker of the year — and awarded a double coup de cœur to both the 2023 Les Millandes Premier Cru and the 2023 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru. The domaine’s motto appears on every label: Sans varier — to continue without varying.
