Small production and serious winemaking go together for a simple reason — the less wine you make, the more attention each bottle receives. The grower Champagnes on the Amitié list are made in hundreds rather than thousands of bottles, by producers who know every parcel, every barrel, and every disgorgement date personally.
Champagne Pierre Deville produces around 1,300 bottles per cuvée in Grand Cru Verzy. Hélène Charbaut’s La Pirouette was 1,285 bottles in 2022. Her La Crayère Blanc de Blancs was 1,440 bottles. Antoine Bouvet’s new cuvées arriving late Fall 2026 — Les Fleurs du Silence and the Saignée de Mareuil — number in the dozens of bottles available in the US.
